We provide legal document preparation to pro se litigants, homeowners and consumers who want to represent themselves in legal proceedings. The cost of legal document preparation is $50. per hour. The total cost is based upon the time necessary to complete the document. The amounts quoted are approximate and are subject to the actual time spent to drat the document or documents. Some of the legal documents we provide include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:
1. Answer, Affirmative Defenses and/or Counterclaims to defend foreclosure. Approximate cost, 10 hours@ $50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
2. Multi-count Complaint to sue foreclosing party or parties in State or Federal Court. Approximate cost, 10 hours @ $50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
3. Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, including all schedules and supporting documents. Approximate cost, 10 hours @ $50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
4. Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, including all schedules, supporting documents and chapter 13 plan. Approximate cost, 15 hours @ $50. per hour, total estimated cost $750.
5. Motion practice, Motion with Memorandum of Law and Points and Authorities in support of Motion, Approximate cost, 10 hours @ $50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
6. Defense of Motion or Demurrer, with Memorandum of Law and Points and Authorities in opposition to Motion or Demurrer. Approximate cost 10 hours @$50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
7. Discovery documents, Request to Produce, Request for Admissions, and Written Interrogatories. Approximate cost, 10 hours @$50. per hour, total estimated cost $500.
8. Other documents cost based upon time spent @$50. per hour. Estimate provided prior to the start of the work on the documents.
All work requires a deposit of $500. to cover the first ten (10) hours of work.
